Columnist slams yellow: 'This is the sort of stupidly partisan, fake pro-soldier bullshit'

Better yet, examine your conscience. You are not supporting our troops; you are pushing your partisan agenda at a time when that is the last thing that this country needs."

Manila Standard columnist and Duterte supporter Jojo Robles slammed the yellows for pretending to be a pro-soldiers but blaming the new administration for the killed troops in Marawi siege.

Robles quoted the statement of a yellow lawyer says, "There can be no other conclusion," harrumphed the Yellow lawyer. "The more our soldiers die, the more our leadership fails."

Robles said that blaming the government doesn't make any sense because unlike before in the case of Mamasapano, the blame should put into the leadership.

As he goes on, Robles explained the difference of Marawi siege and the Mamasapano.

"If the leadership left behind our troops after accomplishing the mission to secure a reward and to do the bidding of another country (Mamasapano again), you could fault the leadership," said Robles.

As many lives lost due to the battle in Marawi, he cited that 'no failure of leadership' happened unlike the previous administration, where 44 lives of SAF lost just because of the reward.

After Duterte administration took place, the government troops are well taken cared of and got lots of support from the president.

On his latter post, Robles said that yellows should examine first their conscience. Because what they are doing weren't supporting our troops but pushing their partisan agenda.

"There can be no other conclusion," harrumphed the Yellow lawyer. "The more our soldiers die, the more our leadership fails."

This is the sort of stupidly partisan, fake pro-soldier bullshit you get these days from the political opposition. But let's dive into this statement before some people actually think it makes sense, why don't we?

It doesn't make any sense, of course. How can terrorists killing our soldiers be the fault of our leadership? If the leadership sent the soldiers to initiate the battle (say, like in Mamasapano, where the motive was also reward money), you could fault the leaders.

If the leadership left behind our troops after accomplishing the mission to secure a reward and to do the bidding of another country (Mamasapano again), you could fault the leadership. You see neither of these happening in Marawi.

Again, what is the alternative to doing what needs to be done in Marawi? Talk peace with terrorists? Even a Yellow as stupid as Risa Hontiveros will not go that far, though she almost did, by saying there was no rebellion going on.

There is no causality in the death of our soldiers and the failure of leadership, unless we are talking about the previous administration (al-Barka and again, Mamasapano). Our soldiers are getting all the support they need and more. They are not being left behind (Mamasapano) or berated for doing their job (al-Barka).

It's just the faux-patriotic (and totally Yellow) who will blame the government while pretending to support our troops. Dear lawyer, examine your statement.

Better yet, examine your conscience. You are not supporting our troops; you are pushing your partisan agenda at a time when that is the last thing that this country needs."
