Vice President Leni Robredo encouraged President Rodrigo Duterte and his administration to listen to former Colombian president Cesar Gaviria's advice that the war on drugs bound to fail based on his experience.

Kasi tama siya, na iyong ginawa niya noon, mukhang iyon din ang ginagawa natin ngayon, and we might commit the same mistakes that he did," she said.

Robredo also reiterated her concerned over the
alleged extrajudicial killings.
She urged the government to investigate the killings because she believes that it is a state-sanctioned.

And kung state-sanctioned, nakakatakot ito," she said.
