Palace on Trillanes calls Duterte 'corrupt': He could be referring to himself

Chief presidential legal counsel Salvador Panelo responded to
Senator Antonio Trillanes IV accusatios to President Duterte for calling the president a 'corrupt.'

"Senator Trillanes could be referring to himself when he described the President as corrupt," Panelo lashed out Trillanes.

"Ask him [why he is corrupt]. He should know. Maybe he should explain his suspicious visits to China during PNoy’s time," he added.

Panelo was responding to Trillanes' statement in a radio interview that the President is not doing anything against corruption.

The senator added that he would resign from his post if it was untrue that P2 billion was deposited in Duterte's bank account, as he claimed during the campaign period.

"He doesn’t have to wait for that. He is undeserving of a Senate seat. He should resign now."

Lastly, Panelo left an new year's message to Trillanes, he said:
"Happy new year, Mr. Trillanes. May you have more nightmares to come."
