'Narco-General' Garbo is 'boss' of suspect in Korean kidnapping | Watch

According to UNTV report, the retired Philippine National Police Deputy Director General Marcelo Garbo, who was tagged by President Duterte as a narco-general was the one who helped Senior Police Officer 3 (SPO3) Ricky Sta Isabel get a post in the anti-narcotics group.

PSupt. Raphael Dumlao, team leader of Sta. Isabel said that he admitted to him that he knew Garbo personally.

“He was assigned through the direction of general garbo, he told me this personally,” Dumlao said.

“Later on, he [Sta. Isabel] was claiming that General Garbo personally knows him, and that he is being called “anak” by Garbo. And that, personally, he was being asked to handle a personal business,” he added.

Earlier, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Ronald dela Rosa already said that a retired police general was involved in the kidnapping.

Meanwhile, Veteran Journalist Ira Panganiban shared his thoughts with regards to this controversial issue that the Duterte administration is facing.
Kaya pinatay yung Koreano sa loob ng Crame ay para mapahiya sila Bato at Digong. Gago talaga.
Netizens also agreed to the views of Panganiban. Some said that it was the tactics of the opposition to malign the administration.

Apol M Bunagan said, "Halatadong ganun nga ang ginawa dito, parte pa rin ng destabilization , kaya sigurado sakyan ng media yan at katulong din sila sa pagpapahiya at Inuumpisahan na nga ito ng isang baboy na reporter sa state of the nation."

While Belmonte Ronald said, "Once Bato is removed, it would be easier for the yellow movement to remove PDuts by all means - either by force or by law. Destroying the PNP is one of the major step: everything else will soon follow."
