The Transnational Anti-Organized Crime Intelligence Group (TAOC-IT) insisted that evidence documents of the gold shipment against former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III are not fake.
According to Director Garma Arcilla, there some staff from Banko Sentral can prove the authenticity of the documents.
"Hindi pwedeng maging peke yun dahil may mga taga-central bank po tayo na nakatayo mismo diyan at handang ibuyagyag yung lahat. Kaya lalo pa namin palalakasin at ibibigay pa namin yung mga ebidensiya pa rito," Arcilla said.
The report said that this coming January 23, the TAOC-IT will release more documents to prove that the gold shipment scandal is true during the Aquino administration.
Earlier, aside from Aquino,former Justice Secretary Leila de Lima, former Interior Secretary Manuel "Mar" Roxas II, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Amando Tetangco Jr., former Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Treasury Department chief dealer Lorelei Fernandez and Sen. Franklin Drilon were also among facing graft and plunder complaints.
It is said that the six officials are involved in the alleged shipment of $141 billion in gold to Thailand.
