President Rodrigo Duterte met with all mayors on Wednesday in the Malacañang Palace.

The palace made a free bus ride to all mayors going to the Malacañang. It also to give the President an opportunity to discuss his anti-drug campaign to them.

"I suppose the intent is to have a conversation in the same way that the President has been, he has not really met with the mayors in order to discuss his positions, especially eradicating criminality, crime, and drugs," Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella said.
Community Newswatch Philippines uploaded photos where the mayors the entire country ride in it.

Earlier, President Duterte threatened to "kill" those who are allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade.

“Itong malalaking shabu dealers, mamamatay talaga ito. And the next batch would really be tatawagin ko ‘yung mga mayors, i-lock ko, no --- kami-kami lang. Sabihin ko talaga sa kanila. Ganun kakapal ‘yung ipinakita ko sa inyo eh. Hanapin mo ‘yung pangalan mo diyan, mayor. T****** i** ‘pag nandiyan ‘yung pangalan mo, may problem ka. Talagang papatayin kita,” Duterte said.

“Either you resign or make a clean breast of everything, come up with a clean nose and we’ll talk... I tell you, do not fool me. I will deprive you of the supervisory powers over the police. Second, I will get rid of your security," he added.

According to the report, Duterte planned to show to the mayors the thick narco list.
