Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Sunday said that next year the Philippines will have a new Vice President.
Trillanes do not trust President Duterte assurance to Robredo that she will end her term.
“I do believe that before the year 2017 ends, we would have a new vice president,” Trillanes said.
Trillanes said it has to do with the electoral protest of former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos.
“Yes. I believe so, kasi mukhang ganun ang timeline,” Trillanes said.
Recently, VP Robredo resigned as the HUDCC chair after the text message of Sec. Evasco informing her not any longer allowed to attend cabinet meetings.
Robredo then stated that there's a plot on ousting her in the position.
Duterte assured Leni she will have her post until her term end.
