Police official who raid Mayor Espinosa had demanded P3-M from Kerwin - Pacquiao
Senator Manny Pacquiao shared his conversation with suspected drug lord Kerwin Espinosa. He said Kerwin told him that the police official who led the raid that causes the death of his father had requested P3 million and got P1.5 million from Kerwin Espinosa
The cop was the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Eastern Visayas (CIDG-8) Supt. Marvin Marcos, who relieved after the case.
“Ang sabi n’ya yung si Marcos, kinakausap daw s’ya dahil tumatakbo yung misis. Hinihingian s’ya ng P3 million,” Pacquiao said.
Marcos,” he added.
Pacquiao said it was Albuera Mayor Espinosa who handed the money to the police.
Yun ang kwento nya, tatay n’ya nag-abot dun kay Marcos,” he said.
Kerwin Espinosa arrived from Abu Dhabi just last week and promised to tell all the information he knows.
Pacquiao said he trusted Kerwin' statements and believed that Mayor Espinosa was killed on purpose.
