Philippine National Police Director General Ronald Dela Rosa on Wednesday hits media outlets for biased reports.
It seems Dela Rosa reacted because suddenly the US stopped their planned sale of 26,000 assault rifles to PNP. He advised the international media to verify their reports and not just rely on the biased local media.
Kung gusto niyo kayo mismo yung pumunta dito feel it for yourselves anong nangyayari dito.
Dela Rosa also said that the media just highlighted the bad things happened and forgetting the positive things brought by the war on drugs. He feels disappointed by the media men that even the smallest issue, they make it a big deal.
That’s how biased these people are.”
Earlier, Dela Rosa said that they will just find another source of the rifles.
"It's their loss, not ours. If they don't want to sell to us, there are other manufacturers that can supply us the firearms. There's Germany, there's Israel, there's Belgium, there's Russia and China. So we have a lot of options," Dela Rosa said.
