Robin Padilla thankful to General Bato, Angeles Police for arresting Mark Fernandez safely



Actor Robin Padilla posted on his Facebook account his gratitude towards Philippine National Police Chief Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa and to the Angeles City PNP for arresting Mark Anthony Fernandez safely on Monday night for possession of illegal drugs.


Angeles City Police found 1 kilo of marijuana in his car during the checkpoint.

According to the report, the estimated value of the marijuana was P15,000.

In Robin Padilla post, he said it was a great relief seeing Mark was safe.

Padilla was really grateful to PNP Dela Rosa and Angeles City Police. He said the entire Padilla family admired and salute to their professionalism and in doing the proper way in arresting his nephew Fernandez.

Mark Fernandez tried to escape at the checkpoint and the police run after him. They were forced to shoot the tire and that's the time they caught him in San Fernando City.

In ABS-CBN report, Fernandez said the uses marijuana as "medication to prevent cancer."

Fernandez jailed at the Station 6 of the Angeles City Police and may charge for violating of sections 5, 11 and 15 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
