PNP announced Bataan "drug-free"

Bataan police director Senior Supt. Benjamin Silo Jr. on Saturday announced that Bataan now is already free from illegal drugs.

It was a big achievement for the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Bataan that in just in three months, they were able to attain the time frame of the government.

According to Silo, they already submitted a report to the president and they are the one in charge of the official announcement.

“We forwarded the report already to the Office of the President, then after verification, Malacañang will be the one to officially announce it,” Silo said.

The local police said they were going to collaborate with the volunteer members of the “Sumbong Bilis Monitoring Team” ( SBMT) to monitor any presence of illegal drugs in the area.
