The Department of Transportation (DOTr) under Duterte administration has launched the Premium Air Bus Service to ease traffic congestion in Ninoy Internation Airport (NAIA).

According to Yahoo.com "Based on the study conducted by the Manila International Airport Authority, the population of airport passengers has increased from 5 to 6 percent or equivalent to 2 million passengers compared to 2014 record."
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) cited that the Premium Air Bus service will be a significant to leasen the vehicle traveling along the airport.

“What we are adressing here is the comfort of the riding public. We are also addressing decongestion. If there are thirty passengers, we can only use one bus. Unlike if they are going to travel with their own vehicles,” DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade said.

This month, the DOTr luanched 21 brand new Mercedes Benz air-conditioned buses with 24-seating capacity.

The premium bus is designed to transport passengers to and from NAIA terminals.

“I am hoping that this experiment will change the views of our people. Before, they just don't want to ride the buses because it’s hot and congested. They even don't want to ride jeepneys because it is uncomfortable,” Tugade said.
