Watch: Palace release 'Partner for change against drugs' ads

The government has released on Friday the two new advertisements about Duterte's campaign against illegal drugs.

The video showed how lives destroyed at the very young age and how families ruined because of drugs.

The Presidential Communications page uploaded the video. It is said it was directed by
Brillante Mendoza, the award-winning director.

According to ABS-CBN, Brillantes directed it for free and recommended by the MTRCB.

The tagline of the video was "Partner for change against drugs." The first ads showed  father's addiction to drugs. Its lesson was: "Kalimutan ang droga bago ka nila kalimutan."

The other video was an OFW mother, in which she struggled so hard just to sustain the needs and to send money to his drug addict son. The message it relays was "May oras pa."[There's still time to change]

The advertisement helps to encourage the people to joined and support the administration campaign against drugs.

“The advertisements will target the Filipino families who might be dealing with problems caused by drug abuse. (The message is) all hope is not lost, the time to end illegal drug-dependence is now,” Presidential Communications Office Secretary Martin Andanar said.

According to ABS-CBN, the 30-second anti-drug advertisements are expected to be aired on television and cinemas nationwide, while full-length versions of the ads are posted on the Presidential Communications social media pages.
