Gun smuggler reveals that one of his buyer plans to assassinate Duterte
Police authorities arrested two men in Bacolod City, who sell smuggled guns and they confiscated worth of P4.5 million of gun parts.
One of the suspect, Wilford Palma divulged that one of his costumer was planning to assasinate President Duterte.
“Sabi niya sa akin, yun daw gagamitin sa assassination ni President Duterte," Palma said, who ordered low-end guns to them.
Palma's boss named Bryan Ta-ala, who is currently confined at a hospital.
PNP Director General Ronald dela Rosa presented the suspect to the media.
Dela Rosa didn't give any details on the person who's planning to kill the president.
“Hindi pa namin talaga matumbok itong tao na ito pero most likely, hindi siguro siya yung gun for hire. Baka inutusan lang ito ng sindikato na bumili ng ganun for that purpose [We can’t positively identify this person yet but it is unlikely that he is the gun for hire. He could have been asked by a syndicate to buy the parts for that purpose],” Duterte said.
The two suspects are charge for violation of Republic Act. 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
