President Duterte criticized Joma Sison and call him 'arrogant'


President Rodrigo Duterte slammed Joma Sison, the communist leader of

Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and called him "arrogant".

During Duterte camp visit on Friday in the 3rd Infantry Spearhead Division in Jamindan, Capiz , he criticized them over their claim of power.

"Akala mo naman kung sino magsalita?Nayayabangan ako sa kanila as if they are really the one in power," Duterte said.

“Sinabi ko kay, itong si Sison, nagbubula-bula ang baba, laway niya lumulusot doon sa screen. Akala mo naman kung sino magsalita. Ni hindi nga sila makahawak ng isang barangay,” Duterte said.

Duterte said the leftist won during the election because of him.

"Hindi nga sila manalo sa eleksyon sa Davao kung hindi dahil sa akin," he added.

Duterte administration and the communist leaders will resume the formal peace talks on August 20 in Oslo, Norway.

Meanwhile, Sison also commented to Duterte and described him as volatile and imprudent being a president. As Duterte lifted the unilateral ceasefire.

“Masyado namang volatile ang Presidente na bagong halal,” Sison said.


“Hindi pwedeng nag-uultimatum. Ang pinag-uusapan dito oras lang, araw. Kung lumamapas ng buwan, pwedeng may uminit ang ulo,” he said.
