Netizens fire back at Dinky Soliman's comment on Duterte war against drugs
A netizen post on Facebook was gone viral, lamenting his thoughts towards Sen. De Lima and his positive views on the anti-drug campaign of President Duterte.
Mr. Abraham said De lima was accusing President Duterte as 'murderer' and a 'violator of human rights' yet she hasn't proven anything.
You have been calling the guy a freakin murderer and a violator of human rights for almost a decade from when he was a mayor, and you headed the CHR, and you continue to do so until today now that you are a senator. You have not produced any evidence or court case to back your claim. This guy, turns around and accuses you of having a sexual relationship with your married driver repeatedly (pictures and video readily available) , providing him not one, but two homes (pictures and video available), having your driver collect money from drug lords inside bilibid (evidence coming soon) and you cry foul! Moreover, Abraham explained why the people kept supporting Duterte campaign against drugs. He cited some great effects that people now feel secured walking at night.
Our religious leaders cry out of concern as to why our society does not condemn Duterte! Why? Because a vast majority of our society, who are poor, can now and only now begin to walk home tonight without fear of being mugged or raped or killed by addicts who used to hang out till the wee hours of the morning, drinking and doing drugs waiting for the next victim. These people who are thankful include my caddie and waiter at the golf club I came from tonight and the uber driver I rode with last week. There are many more of these hard working and decent countrymen who are bent on making something out of their lives, a lot more than us who dominate the social media, business, politics and the religious institutions. A lot more than us who can afford good homes, good schools, cars, a gated community or a three bedroom condominium. The netizens also expressed their supports and shared same optimism towards President Duterte. But what actually caught the attention of the netizens was the comment of Dinky Soliman.
And you have the freakin gall to ask what has our society devolved into?
Perhaps you are right. At what level of morality and hypocrisy has our society deteriorated into?
Soliman served as secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development under the administration of President Benigno Aquino III.

If change means 700 poor people dead with a significant number not drug addicts and pushers; if change means not respecting the rights of citizens; change means foul language from the highest official of the land....let us all pray. And the poor do not speak that way and the drivers and everyone are afraid of course they will ok because if they protest that might end up dead with a card that says tulak ako.Netizens responded to her comment quickly. Read some of their comments below:
Raul Boncan Jr 700 people were liquidated by their own upline of pushers and drug lords to remove witneases against them. Did u really think a vigilante group is doing this? Elementary kids would know the truth. The moment they went into this business they gave up their human rights! What about the victims of drug related crimes why aren't you all crying foul?
Mardy Halcon 700 tainted personalities and you are crying a river. But where were the tears when more than 4,000 children were killed, raped and abused in 2013? Where were the tears when about 3,000 were killed by riding-in-tandem in the same year? And what about the 44 SAF casualties? No tears for them, too? Not even the courtesy to welcome their bodies at villamor air base.
How could you be so selective?
Dobel Beckmann Do you think it is the work of Duterte's men to wrap the dead bodies with placards and sensationalize their photos? Really? Think again, Ms Dinky Soliman
I am speaking because mydad used to be one. I am just thankful to God na even before Duterte became a President nagbago na ang tatay ko. These people na malakas magsalita is I bet wala silang idea how hard it is to live pag may kasama ka na adik sa bahay. I am challenging those people mag ampon kayo ng adik. Baka kayo mismo mapatay nyo ang mga pusher sa galit.
Nollie Calising What else do we expect from Delima's partymates? Malamang sa malamang all the tirades they need to throw from all their resources gagawin nila, puputak nang puputak. Cover-ups, perhaps?
Coe Dela Sena Sorry Ms. Dinky, you were part of a previous administration that did little to nothing to alleviate this problem. Foul language has nothing to do with it. And remember, drug addicts do not chose their victims, it's just that they victimize those accessible to them. Have you learned nothing after you've served as dswd? All those victims, has none come through your door? What massive program has your department done for drug dependents? Did you know there were 600000+ dependents (pushers and users) out there? Well, apparently not. I hope that critics like you know what they are talking about but obviously, you just like to criticize him because Mar did not win. Oh btw, maraming street children sa ortigas, natutulog sa ilalim ng flyover, sa C5 namamato sa mga sasakyan, maraming batang miyembro ng street gangs sa tondo at caloocan, just incase hindi mo alam, which actually tells us one thing: you didn't do your job well. So cut the crap. You don't know anything about the drug menace, you don't know how to solve it, and did nothing at least to control it. You don't have the right to criticize one who is actually doing something about it. You should criticize yourself.
