6 men killed in anti-drug raid of Leyte mayor Espinosa's house

There are six men killed during the police operation 
on Wednesday morning, in the three houses of Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr.,and his son, according to the report.

The Leyte Provincial Police Office, Regional Public Safety Battalion, and Albuera Philippine National Police joined forces to raid the houses at Sitio Tinago in Brgy. Benolho around 5:30 in the morning.

Two armed men guarding the gate were fired the authorities and that's the time an exchange of the gunfire ensued.

According to GMA report, two men died in the mayor's house, two in the Kerwin's house, and the other two in mayor's first house.

The Albuera police said that the gunmen were using branded high-powered firearms and some short firearms. 

They also recovered 13 assorted long firearms, 4 cal .45 pistols and riffle grenades.

Mayor Espinosa on Tuesday surrendered after President Duterte ordered 'shoot on sight' for the both of them. Until now, his son haven't yet spotted.

Also, mayor denied the allegation in his involvement in illegal drug trade. But admitted that his son, Kerwin links to drug trafficking and manufacturing shabu.

He also said that the supplier of his son was the convicted Herbert Co.

According to dela Rosa, Kerwin Espinosa now was out of the country, either in Singapore or Malaysia.
