P900-M worth of shabu confiscated in Cagayan

In a report of GMA News Online, Philippine National Police (PNP) anti- illegal drug group personnel confiscated shabu around 180 kilograms and has an estimated value of P900 million at North Shore Island Resort in Barangay Cullao, Calveria, Cagayan in the early afternoon of Sunday.

According to acting head of the PNP-AIG Senior Suprintendent Alberto Ferro said the drug were seized from the North Shore Islan Resort in Banrangay Cullao at past 2 pm on sunday.

"An arrested drug peddler revealed to policemen during questioning that several kilogram of shabu wre hidden at the resort" Ferro said.

Shabu placed in a big ice chest with the black plastic bags.

Ferro confirmed on his month "the drug recovered has a street value of P900 million."

Philippine National Police is still investigate to identify the owner of the recovered drugs.

Dela Rosa said that based in the information given to him, the illegal drugs came from either China or Taiwan and was shipped to Cagayan.
