In a report of Philippine Daily Inquirer, Duterte urged Lim to submit himself to the police to find out if he's innocent or not.
Peter Lim was one of the alleged drug lords named by Duterte, together with Co and Colangco.
“I will advise you strongly to submit to an investigation, in my term. You go to…For now, you are not guilty, but if I find out that you are, I will have you finished. You better go to the investigating agency, the NBI,” Duterte said.
Duterte also told Lim to bring his lawyer and inform the NBI that his willing to be investigated.
“I will advise you strongly na mag-submit ka sa investigation,” Duterte told Lim.
“We want to help you… Help us clear you,” the President added.
Lim said he wants to help the government and offers full cooperation to Duterte.
“I could clear up everything because my family is really in deep problem now in Cebu… In any way I will help, in all my ways I can,” said Lim.
