Dela Rosa says Pres. Duterte to drop more names of police involved in drugs
National Police chief Director General Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa on Wednesday, said that President Rodrigo Duterte will drop more names in the upcoming days involved in illegal drugs and it depends to him[Duterte] when he will announce it.
Dela Rosa said it's not in his list but in President Duterte's list, there were more police officers involved.
“Hindi sa listahan ko pero sa listahan ni Presidente mukhang meron pa and I don't want to preempt [him] from divulging those additional information. Hintayin na lang ninyo. Basta my observation is, I think meron pa siyang sasabihin na mga additional na pangalan,” he said.
Dela Rosa met the three generals alleged protectors of drug traders in Camp Crame, Chief Supt. Bernardo Diaz, Chief Supt Edgardo Tinio, and Director Joel Pagdilao.
"My advice to them was face the music,"he added "They assured me they will give their 100 percent cooperation." Dela said in the interview.
“The President can have access to all intelligence information na nakalap dito sa Pilipinas at sa ibang bansa. He is the President, yung kanyang information hindi lang nanggaling sa PNP, hindi lang ISAFP, NICA (National Intelligence Coordinating Agency), lahat ng mga government agencies na may intelligence department,” he said.
“Yes. Kung merong mag volunteer na foreign counterpart we have been sharing intelligence with our foreign counterparts,” he said.
He included that Duterte's rundown could incorporate the most elevated to the least police authorities.
“For all we know, ang listahan ni Presidente hindi lang sa rank hanggang Senior Superintendent, hanggang PO1 pa nga e. Madami yung listahan niya. Mga PO1 pa yung mga involved," Dela Rosa said.
