Philippine National Police Chief Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa said he wants illegal drug traders to be dead instead to have a court trial, in his interview in dzMM with Karen Davila.
“Totohanan ito. Personally, mas gusto ko silang mamatay kesa magkakaso-kaso pa kami. Kasi napaka-powerful talaga nila,”Dela rosa said with conviction.
Dela Rosa said that drug lords are influencing people. If they given a will to file a case, there's a chance that they might reversed the situation.
“Talagang mayayaman itong mga drug lords, kaya nilang baliktarin ang mga kaso. Para wala nang kaso, dapat mamatay na lang silang derecho,” dela Rosa said.
“You can just imagine the frustration of the Filipino people and my frustration. Ano gagawin ko sa kanya pag kaharap ko siya? Hindi ko na sasabihin. Basta pag nakita ko siya, all hell will break loose,” said dela Rosa.
Dela Rosa said that regardless of President Rodrigo Duterte's standing request to shoot to execute drug rulers, the police must choose the option to take after the law in binding them.
They will follow the procedures as what is the right thing to do. This implied getting court orders to get to their house and getting their runners or pushers to affirm in court.
"Everything will be legal," dela Rosa said.
