Chinese woman arrested with P6.2M worth of Shabu at Cebu airport


In Mactan-Cebu International Airport on Wednesday, a Chinese woman named Zhou Liming was arrested for carrying a shabu worth of P6.2 million.

Zhou arrived at 11:30 a.m. from Xiamen, China. 11 large packs or 4.2 kilos of shabu found in her trolly bag.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency K-9 officer, Olibert Estillore noticed Zhou uneasiness at the airport.

When it was her turn in the x-ray, the machine operator detected several packs and the K9 dogs sniffed the packs confirming it contained illegal drugs.

Zhou brought to the Customs Office in Lapu-Lapu City and became very emotional after telling her she will be detained.
 

Based on her passport, they learned she already visited thrice in the country.
