Caloocan vice mayor surrenders brother involved in drugs


Due to the hot campaign by the government against illegal drugs, yesterday, Caloocan Vice Mayor Macario Asistio II has surrendered his own drug dependent brother Luisito Jr. to police authorities in Caloocan City.

In a report of Manilabulletin "Vice Mayor Macario “Maca” Asistio III surrendered his own brother Luisito Jr. to police authorities Tuesday after the latter was tagged as among the top drug personalities in a list that is in the possession of top Philippine National Police (PNP) officials."

“I directly told the vice mayor that his brother was on the list that Crame sent us. He then took my cellphone number,” he said. Sr. Supt. Johnsono Almaza said

The vice mayor, who heads the Caloocan Anti-Drug Abuse Council, said they will immediately bring his brother to a rehabilitation center where he is expected to reform for good.

As indicated by Almazan, Luisito promptly admitted to being a drug users, and a durg pusher previously. He additionally named his suppliers, in spite of the fact that Caloocan Anti-Illegal Drugs Section head Chief Insp. Bernard Pagaduan said the persons embroiled by Luisito were already dead.
