Impeachment?go ahead, Duterte says
Incoming President-elect Rodrigo Duterte on Monday said he is not afraid of impeachment as long as he will do his duty as a President.
During in his speech in Davao City Hall employees, Duterte said he will do anything to attained what he promise to the everyone. From implementing policies and laws to suppress illegal drugs and crimes.
There are some questioning his policies and saying it violated the human rights but Duterte responded to them saying, "Impeachment? Go ahead walang problema sa akin. I will insist what I promised to the people," Duterte said.
Duterte said he will eradicate crimes for 3-6 months and that there will be no corruption in his administration.
He is also imposing a curfew for minors nationwide and liquor ban at 1 a.m.
Also, he mentioned about implementing a 3 child policy in the country.
Duterte will be sworn in as the Philippines’ 16th president on Thursday, June 30 in Malacanang.
He's spending his time now in city hall employees in his last flag ceremony as chief executive of Davao City before officially pronounce as the new President of the Philippines.
Duterte has been serving Davao City for a total of 22 years, mostly as the city’s chief executiveand also he served as the city’s vice mayor and congressman for one term each.
