5 minutes quick speech to highlight President-elect Duterte inauguration

President-elect Rodrigo Duterte's inauguration ceremony will be this coming June 30 in Malacanang. According to Davao City administrator Jesus Melchor Quitain, it will be simple, frugal and quick.

Jesus Melchor Quitain is the longtime speech writer of President-elect Duterte for the past 14 years. In his interview in GMA news, he said the speech of Duterte will only take 5 minutes long and written in English.

"Five minutes more or less. He's not joking. Hindi yan paligoy-ligoy. Pag nagsalita siya, derechahan," Quitain said.

"Maybe you notice na pag extemporaneous speech, maraming P.I.'s yan, eh. [Sa] formal speech, you have to do away with that kind of language," he added.

The inauguration will only exclusive for 500 guests and only finger foods will be served, such as Duterte's favorite, Maruya

The state-owned government station or RTVM will only cover the inauguration ceremony in Rizal Hall.

According to Andanar, he said that they should not make it a big deal because as we all know, the venue was quiet small that's why the guest invited is also limited.

The family of Duterte will be in Manila next week. Incoming Davao City mayor Sara Duterte and vice mayor Paolo Duterte will return to Davao right away for their prior commitments.

Sara Duterte said she might no longer take on the duties of First Lady. But, she'll take consideration for his father's special request.

"Hindi na siguro.... Nag-aalaga pa ako ng mga anak ko. May trabaho pa ako sa city hall," Sara said.
