352 suspected drug user and pusher voluntarily surrender in Quezon city

Manila, Philippines- More than 300 suspected drug users and pushers voluntarily surrendered to the police in Quezon City.

President elect Rodrigo Duterte promised to eradicate illegal drugs and criminality.

According to our source, 352 individual surrendered from 12 barangays in Quezon City Police district. They underwent drug test and must give the source of the illegal drugs.

According to 24 Oras:

"Hindi naman kakasuhan ang sumuko, bagkus pwedi silang erehab o bigyan ng kabuhayan." QCPD Deputy Director for Operations Senior Supt. Joselito Esquivel said.

“For them na ayaw mag-surrender, we will declare war. Magka-conduct kami ng police operation kapag lumaban sila, alam na nila ang mangyayari. Bakbakan na,” he said.

A female drug user said “Natatakot din po ako sa mangyayari sa akin, yung sa ngayon mga napapanood at nababalitaan ko kasi uupo na si Presidente Duterte."

"Baka mangayari din sa amin yan, mahirap na," she added.

Duterte ordered "shoot the criminals who will refuse to arrest." Individuals worried about their lives will be jeopardized that's why they voluntarily surrendered to the authorities.
