Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo still leading for Vice President against Senator Bongbong Marcos.
Political Analyst Earl Parreno said in ANC interview that Robredo's rating for the last few weeks was going up while the others result was irratic. That's why it what keeps them neck to neck with Senator Bongbong Marcos.
Parreno said the factors that helped Robredo's in her candidacy is a clear message of honest governance, the role of women in governance, and role of women as a mother. Also, he stated that the people sees Robredo same as Mayor Duterte represent change and their tandem balance out the strong personality of Davao City Mayor Duterte, who is evident to win the presidency.
Parreno added that Robredo remains neck and neck with Marcos due to the legacy of the latter's later father and namesake, President Ferdinand Marcos.
He said the Marcoses remain popular due to a "protracted campaign" to distance their family name from the horrors of Martial law.
92.86% precincts reporting as of May 10th 2016, 04:29 pm. Tuesday, Robredo leads the vice presidential race with 13,615,788 votes, according to the poll monitor of the Parish Pastoral Council for Reponsible Voting (PPCRV).
Only 80,980 votes separate Robredo from Marcos who had 13,406,762 votes, as of posting time.
