Essential words you should say to your parents
Some of us find it hard to communicate to our parents. But there's important things we need to say to them before it's too late. It's important for us children to make our parents feel how much we love them. As we become parents ourselves, that's the time we realize your parents may have been on to something. We should also recognize their efforts by raising us to be a better person.
- I think of you every single day of my life.
Even if I’m busy and tired, I still think of you. I’ll always feel the special bond we have.
- I’m proud to be your child.
Sure, I didn’t have to ask for it and probably didn’t even deserve it, but you’ve always been there for me. You gave me everything and taught me everything I needed to know to become the independent and strong person that I am.
- I appreciate every little thing you’ve done for me.
There are so many little things that you’ve done and keep doing for me. I didn’t say ’’Thank you’’ when I had to, but it doesn’t mean I took them for granted or didn’t notice them. I’m deeply grateful and I can’t even imagine my life without you.
- I know you.
I know no one is perfect and we’re all human. You too had your own problems and difficulties to go through but you were courageous enough to have me, and that was your best gift to me. You’ve always supported me in all my endeavors, and that’s why now I feel strong and I have enough courage to move forward in my life.
- I miss you like crazy.
Now I’m far away from you, busy with my career and trying to build my own family. Even if we’re thousands of miles apart, I miss you. Probably, I shouldn’t have gone this far away from you, but I know that you’ve always wanted the best for me. You’ve always encouraged me to pursue my goals and stand up for my dreams. That’s why I’m trying my best to make you proud of me.
- You make me a better person.
I haven’t disappointed myself and others; I succeeded in becoming generous and strong, because you’ve always fostered decency and kindness in my heart.
- There are no words that can express my love for you.
You’ve always told me that actions speak much louder than words. I know they do. But even if I wanted to verbally express my love for you, no words could do it properly.
- Everything you had to sacrifice because of me is always here in my mind and in my heart.
Every parent loves their child, but not everyone is able to put their children first, sacrificing their own interests. But you guys did. Every decision you made worked best for me first of all.
- My biggest fear is to lose you one day.
I know that I just have to accept the fact that you won’t be here forever, like none of us will. One day I’ll become a person with no parents, and this frightens me most. I know I’ll have to go on with my own path even when you’re gone. But I’m not sure if I’ll ever be okay with that.
- I’m sorry.
I know I’ve made a lot of mistakes, but every time I messed up, I learned something new. I’m sorry if I caused any harm to your loving hearts. I never did it on purpose. Now I know that back then I behaved like a spoiled baby.
- You will always be my best friends.
You’re simply irreplaceable. You will always remain the ones who I would like to share all my special moments with.
- You are my heroes.
You have given me so many happy memories that I’ll always consider you to be my heroes. Not only did you give life to me, but you were also there for me when I needed you most.
- My children will always be an inseparable part of your lives.
My children will never be too far away from you. And I know that they’ll be so lucky to have you, and to share their happy moments with you.
- You will always be in my heart.
You will always stay with me in my heart. I will cherish my memories of you. I know you will always stay by my side, even when we say our last goodbyes.
