Duterte sets mandatory drug test starting from the General down to the drivers

Incoming President Rodrigo Duterte said during his press conference to have a mandatory drug test to all officers, including Philippine National Police members and Generals this coming July 1.

"Gusto ko mag blood test ka sa harap ko. Wag na yung paihi kasi yung iba patago." Duterte said.

Duterte also said there will be a “massive reshuffle” of the police force, and generals will not be exempted.
Duterte said he will consult with incoming PNP head Chief Superintendent Ronald dela Rosa on how to go about the reshuffle.
Earlier, the presumptive president told police officials, especially those engaged in corrupt practices, to clean up their acts or face tough sanctions.
Meanwhile, Duterte also said officials of the New Bilibid Prison may also face a reshuffle, including reassignments.
Duterte indicated he may replace them with officials running the Iwahig Penal Colony in Palawan.
