Cebu is one of the most visited destinations in the Philippines. Locals and foreigners are dazzled of the beauty it brings. From the historical landmarks to natures wonder of "The Queen City of the South". Also, it has many gift offering to the residence and travelers. Just within Cebu there's a lot of place and things you can do.
Here's a shortlist of the things you want to do in exploring Metro Cebu:
- Basilica del Santo Nino
It is considered as the oldest church in the country. It is located in the center of Cebu City near the city hall. Many devotee pray in this church especially during Sinulog Festival.
- Magellan's Cross
It is located just beside the Basilica del Sto. Nino. Mostly, people pray in there and lit a few candles.
The Chapel where Magellan’s Cross is housed. The site is located along Magallanes Street, which was named after Ferdinand Magellan.
- Fort San Pedro
Fort San Pedro is located in Plaza Indepedencia in the pier area of Cebu City. With an entrance fee of only P30, you can already tour inside the fort and travel back in time to the first Spanish settlement in the Philippines.

If your looking for an adventure. - Temple of Leah
If your looking for a unique historical place. It's where you belong and experience the Ancient Rome scenery. This museum was a tribute of love. Teodorico Adarna, father of actress Ellen Adarna and owner of Queensland motels built this for his wife. The temple was constructed in the year 2012 A.D as a symbol of the undying love for her wife and ceaseless devotion to Leah Villa Albino-Adarna. Temple of Leah is located in Roosevelt St., Brgy. Busay Cebu City.
- Food Trip
After a long day of exploring Cebu. Let's go have a food trip. Try the best lechon in town. I suggest CnT lechon along V. Rama Ave., Ayers lechon in SM City Cebu. or Zubuchon in One Mango Mall. You can also visit Larsian beside Chong Hua Hospital in Fuente and siomai sa tisa in Labangon paired with the "puso" (rice wrapped and cooked in palm leaves). Choose any variety of foods you want and try them all while staying in Cebu.
- Pasalubong Section
Shop at Taboan Market for the dried danggit, tuyo, squid and dilis. Shamrock bakery for the best otap and you can choose many delicacy out there too. Also, if you want a souvenirs try to go to Island Souvenirs or Sto. Nino, there's a lot of selection of stoll outside.
- Top of the World
Tops lookout is one of the best relaxing place in Cebu. You can see the overrated view of the city. The panoramic scenery makes it more beautiful especially during sunset until it gets dark. The city lights is very overwhelming and leave you breathless. It's very cold out there so don't forget to bring your sweater or human blanket. The place suits well to unwind, picnic, or even have a date. Tops located in Busay. You can either ride a cab or motorbike (available near in JY Square).
- Night Market in IT Park
Are you a foodie? Try the Sugbo Mercado in IT Park, Lahug. They offered different selection of foods there. From snacks to dessert to main dish. You will surely have a mouth watering seeing vast of foods.
